Lo chiamano abitare

lo chiamano abitare: si rotola
sul confine tra deserto e una terra
insolente di promesse, sterile
per dismisura di pianto
eufrate e tigri insabbiati
nel salino di lacrime
perdo lo sguardo smémoro la luce
– sclera bianca –
non riconosco la tua casa che brucia
la tua voce che calma
 
è l’amen della notte questo cielo
polvere raggelata
accade con l’imperfezione annunciata
il riproporsi ostinato del sangue
il dibattersi vano di parole nell’inchiostro dei secoli
storia che illudedelude
verità che tradiscetrasgredisce:
due civette dai grandi occhi impassibili
stanno -sfrontate- sui Grandi Libri
su ogni colonna miliare o torre ambigua
di avvistamento di controllo 
minaretocupolacampanile
 
tu solo mi raccogli, amore
nel tuo cesto di scintille
in tempuscoli di tuono
 
siamo mandorle di luce nella coppa del buio
minime caparbie vibrazioni
lasceremo tracce di un approdo
un viluppo tremante al riparo

they call it living: we spin
on the border between desert and an insolent
land of promises, made sterile
by an excess of sorrow  
euphrates and tigris buried in sand
in the salt of tears
I lose my sight the memory of light
– white sclera –
unable to recognise your house burning
your calming voice 
 
this sky, frozen dust
is the night’s amen
the obstinate reemergence of blood
the vain flapping of words on the ink of centuries
come with announced imperfection
history that disappointsdeceives
truth that betraystransgresses: two owls
with their big impassive eyes
pose – impudent – on the Great Books
on every milepost, or ambiguous
lookout or watch tower 
minaretcupolacampanille
 
you alone pick me up, sweetheart
in your basket of sparks
in the briefest moments of thunder
 
we are almonds of light in the cup of darkness
little stubborn vibrations
we’ll leave traces of our mooring
a trembling embrace in a shelter
